Below we publish a statement of Ed. Board of zina "The urgent need to combat" and a few responses to the exhibition from the audience.
«Revenge of the far right on our streets, in government, in newspapers, in university classrooms and art exhibitions does not give us a hand anti-fascism in the archives of the last century.
We stand in solidarity with the rebellious prisoners of Sobibor and the Warsaw ghetto, the struggle of Soviet soldiers, the English Anarchists and Marxist-poumovtsev, with the heroes of French and Italian resistance, with the Yugoslav partisans, with the victims of Pinochet terror ...
We do not believe that their feat can be reduced in the ghettos of ethnic, national, party, or sub-cultural memory. We do not believe that the historical contradictions between anti-fascists in the past to divide us today. Historical memory belongs to anyone willing to apply it in their lives and share with others.
We do not see fascism as an abstract or otherworldly evil, nor as a manifestation of the eternal human vices. Historically, fascism in all its forms generated by the system that has certain qualities and name. This system - capitalism is. Fascism emerges at the point where the conversation about the specific social ills and contradictions replaced the talk of the privileges of a strong, successful, (God) elected, on the inviolability of the social, ethnic, and any other boundaries and hierarchies, allegedly transferred more than nature or mortgaged. We believe - there is no "given over" inequality "
We know one boundary - Between right, ie hierarchy (what else - a conservative, national-socialist or market-fundamentalist - form) and left , that is, by both the horizon and concrete steps towards him.
We see the urgent need to combat, including in the field of culture, art and knowledge. In establishing the continuity of the anti-fascist theory and practice »
