Dads Comical Wedding Poems

on human rights film festivals will not show memory Anastasia Baburova

Committee on January 19 it became known that the film Valery Balayan's "Love me, please", dedicated to murdered by the Nazis January 19, 2009 the journalist and anti-fascist Anastasia Baburova excluded from the program of two human rights film festivals. One of them - "Profession: journalist" - organized by the Journalists Union of Russia and the Russian Guild of Film Directors and will be held November 15-19, 2010. Second - XVI International Film Festival on Human Rights "Stalker" - held from 10 to 15 December 2010. Organizers of festivals showing the film to motivate the abolition of the impossibility security for participants and visitors of the festival.
We believe the position of the organizers of the festivals that have abolished the screening of the movie, cowardly and immoral. We believe that the refusal to show the film insults the memory of those killed and does no credit to people who publicly represent the journalistic community and call themselves defenders of human rights.
In modern Russia, as relevant as ever to show solidarity among journalists, human rights, anti-fascists, by all indifferent people. 26-year-old Anastasia Baburova wrote to the major socio-political issues and did not hide his anti-fascist views. The tragic death allowed her to do many important things. Valery Balayan movie "Love me, please" in Russia has been publicly displayed only three times. Cancel further impressions of this film means a tacit refusal to discuss the topic and continue to fight for everything, fought for Anastasia. This is the first step towards fearful humility, chilling fear in the face of the Nazi threat, which these artists encourage the Russian society.
Hope Prusenkova, journalist from Novaya Gazeta: "Do not show the tape - not an option. From the film "The Russia-88" was the same story. It's an escape from problems. Security can be provided. Put the metal detectors, which put at rallies - on forces. And cancel the show because of the fear - do as they like the Nazis. "Love me, please - do not manifest as a tribute. Apparently, the film did not look nor those who attacked in Novosibirsk, nor those who are satisfied with these festivals. "
Committee on January 19 intends to organize a demonstration of the film "Love me, please" on an alternative site and invite visitors to the festival to view it.
